El impuesto ambiental y la demanda de autos usados en la ciudad de Ambato

Abstract

A través de la presente investigación se hace un análisis del impuesto ambiental y su efecto con el mercado de autos usados en la ciudad de Ambato, por lo cual se determinó en primera instancia el conocimiento de los compradores de vehículos usados en lo que tiene que ver con la metodología de aplicación del impuesto ambiental para posterior realizar una evaluación de los montos y volúmenes de ventas, para poder así determinar si la puesta en vigencia de la Ley de Fomento Ambiental y Optimización de los Ingresos del Estado afectó a la demanda de este tipo de vehículos, buscando además que los resultados sean la base de nuevas investigaciones, ayudando así al área académica y empresarial para la toma de decisiones en cuanto a posibles reajustes a la medida. Además este impuesto ambiental es aplicado de manera desproporcionada, sin considerar que las personas con pocos recursos, tienen vehículos antiguos, o al menos no tan nuevos y que muchos son vehículos de cilindraje relativamente alto.
