El Paradigma Competitivo una mirada a Latinoamérica

Abstract

En las últimas décadas se ha emprendido en América Latina políticas en aras de fomentar las pequeñas y medianas empresas y mejorar la competitividad de los sistemas productivos de la región, teniendo en cuenta la importancia de la creación de ventajas competitivas que permitan elevar su competitividad en los mercados internacionales, partiendo de que si bien las ventajas comparativas son importantes en este proceso, ellas de por sí solas no bastan para el logro de ese fin. Analizando el actual contexto de una economía mundial globalizada, y como ésta no siempre se presenta ventajosamente para estas economías, así como la necesidad de políticas gubernamentales que fomenten y propicien la competitividad de las empresas y de la región como bloque económico.
