Abstract

La presente investigación se titula "La gestión estratégica de los costos en la Empresa de Materiales de Construcción de Las Tunas", que ha tenido como objetivo aplicar un procedimiento para la gestión estratégica de los costos basado en las actividades. Se consultaron diversas fuentes bibliográficas que sirvieran de soporte para el desarrollo de la investigación, asimismo, se consideraron las propuestas más generales acerca de los postulados en los que se sustenta la gestión estratégica de los costos y que son reconocidos como tales por los principales autores consultados para, sobre esa base, proponer y aplicar un procedimiento para la gestión de costos basado en las actividades, contentivo de técnicas del mejoramiento continuo, que contiene los elementos prácticos para su aplicación, permitiendo definir el posicionamiento estratégico, aportándole a la entidad un instrumento orientador y metodológico que se ajusta a sus características.
