La estructura organizacional un componente básico en la evaluación del control interno de las pymes de la provincia de El Oro- República del Ecuador

Abstract

La estructura organizacional es un elemento esencial que direcciona la gestión empresarial, constituyéndose en un elemento clave en las pequeñas y medianas empresas para realizar las actividades de control interno, la ausencia de este ocasiona desventajas en la organización. Los componentes del control interno se encuentran interrelacionados entre si y son de vital importancia para el desarrollo operacional de la organización. El propósito de este artículo es analizar y proporcionar información clara sobre los factores que tienen mayor incidencia en el diseño e implementación de un sistema de control interno y sus componentes, el ambiente de control, la valoración de riesgo, actividades de control, información y comunicación y la supervisión- monitoreo. La mayoría de Pymes en la Provincia de El Oro no cuenta con una estructura organizacional haciendo que las actividades de control sean nulas poniendo en riesgo sus resultados económicos y el desarrollo empresarial de la región.
