Abstract

El cantón Simón Bolívar perteneciente a la provincia del Guayas es una zona de gran riqueza agrícola en la que se destacan los cultivos como: arroz, maíz, árboles frutales, cacao, banano, sus actividades de negocios se han concentrado en la compra y venta de la materia prima como son: el banano, cacao, maíz, etc. La transformación de la Matriz Productiva convertirá al país en generador y exportador de mayor valor agregado a través del aprovechamiento del conocimiento y el talento humano, con inclusión de nuevos actores asegurando de esta manera el Buen Vivir. Sin embargo el nivel de desconocimiento de los agricultores sobre la Matriz Productiva y su efecto en los emprendimientos agrícolas ha llevado a plantear la siguiente investigación “Análisis de los principales cambios de la Matriz Productiva y su incidencia en los nuevos emprendimientos agrícolas que se deseen establecer del Cantón Simón Bolívar, período 2013-2014†.
