Construcción y modernización de los puertos marítimos en la Republica del Ecuador

Abstract

En nuestros días comercializar bienes y materias primas al resto del mundo colabora altamente con el desarrollo de una sociedad. Por lo cual es vital generar vías o medios que reduzcan los tiempos de duración de los fletes de transportes. Desde el año 1914 el Canal de Panamá ha brindado un aporte significativo al desarrollo del comercio internacional disminuyen el tiempo y distancia en el transporte de mercancía. La capacidad de un navío o buque a través del tiempo ha tenido cambios favorables en cuanto al volumen de mercancía que pueden transportar. Es cuando surge la necesidad de realizar una ampliación dentro del canal de Panamá para poder recibir embarcaciones con un mayor tamaño. Esta ampliación no solo contribuye al incremento del comercio internacional sino además crea la necesidad distintos servicios marítimos como lo son la construcción y reparación de embarcaciones de gran calado. Es por ende representa una gran oportunidad para incrementar el desarrollo del Ecuador.
