Impacto social de la innovación empresarial de los universitarios en el Ecuador

Abstract

Ecuador en los últimos años ha atravesado un proceso de profundos cambios, que se han reflejado positivamente en el mejoramiento de las condiciones socioeconómicas de sus habitantes, pero al igual que otros países de América Latina, su economía sigue reflejando dependencia en la exportación de materias primas y petróleo, condiciones que el actual gobierno busca modificar, haciendo importantes esfuerzos para pasar de una economía extractivista de recursos limitados, a una economía del conocimiento de recursos ilimitados. Por lo que ha realizado significativas inversiones, becando a jóvenes para que se preparen en las universidades más prestigiosas del mundo, mientras que las universidades a nivel nacional se encuentran en un proceso de mejoramiento de su nivel académico, contando con que los conocimientos sean fuente de innovación aplicada a los procesos, productos y servicios con alto valor agregado, contribuyendo directamente al cambio de la matriz productiva.
