La ruta del cacao, modelo de aporte al desarrollo socio-turístico y económico de las comunidades ecuatorianas

Abstract

El Gobierno del Ecuador, buscando rescatar las actividades tradicionales del país y con el objetivo de promover el turismo rural y sostenible, ha definido rutas turísticas donde los visitantes pueden interactuar con los residentes de las comunidades. En este artículo se presenta la Ruta del Cacao y la proyección turística que han tenido los lugares dentro de la ruta. Los habitantes obtienen beneficios para sus comunidades y los visitantes adquieren una experiencia inolvidable en contacto con la naturaleza.
