Educação financeira e inadimplência no Brasil

Abstract

Estudos recentes apontam que 4 em cada 10 brasileiros declaram gastar toda sua renda mensal sem nada poupar. Da mesma maneira, indicadores apontam para critica realidade de que 85% dos consumidores brasileiros declaram-se consumidores compulsivos. Diante deste cenário de desequilibro no que tange hábitos e praticas na tomada de decisões econômico-financeiras do dia a dia, seria a Educação Financeira um fenômeno capaz de mitigar os efeitos de tal desequilibro? Caberia ao Estado brasileiro a adoção de medidas eficientes em busca de resultados que reflitam a efetiva inserção desta pratica educativa no ambiente escolar do país? É sob a égide desta problemática que dissertaremos no presente, objetivando um exercício critico e reflexivo em relação ao atual estágio do padrão de consumo no Brasil, bem como a apresentação de uma tecnologia social capaz de mitigar possíveis distorções neste padrão. Para tal, fundamentaremos nossas considerações em Sant’anna et al., (2009); Soares et al., (2008); Lima & Ayala (2012); Kern (2009); Muniz (2010); Nazário et al., (2008); Stephani (2005), de forma a permitir-nos da o suporte teórico adequado ao presente trabalho.
