El atractivo de un buen mercado: América Latina y las exportaciones intrarregionales en el periodo 2000-2012

Abstract

Relevar lo importante del comercio internacional resulta casi un axioma. Tanto el nivel como la evolución que ha mostrado en perspectiva de largo plazo le otorgan un rol crucial en el devenir económico del mundo. En este contexto, el vector del comercio intrarregional y la comparación respecto de lo que ocurre en diferentes zonas del mundo también ha sido relevado. En América Latina este tipo de comercio ha tenido una dinámica notable durante el horizonte de largo plazo que va entre los años 2000 y 2012; constatándose también que este presenta algunas características que, matizan las perspectivas de suponer por un lado a toda una región con el mismo comportamiento y por otro, una misma orientación exportadora de todas sus economías.
