La economía popular y solidaria. Una respuesta a las políticas neoliberales

Abstract

Un supuesto ideal, la economía popular y solidaria sustituye a las políticas neoliberales que se aplican en el Ecuador desde su retorno a la vida democrática en 1979. Se trata de generar y diseminar imágenes sobre la economía popular y solidaria, sus relaciones de constitución y los nexos que el modelo construye con la sociedad. Un planteamiento que conduce a la necesidad de un enfoque más interdisciplinario de la economía, una perspectiva que no sólo hace visible los aspectos cognitivos, sino que incorpora las dimensiones institucionales, culturales, económicas, políticas que funcionan como 'sentido común' en los sectores populares (el buen vivir) y que ayudan a pensar y actuar en el campo científico de la economía, fomentar sus nexos con el desarrollo y así plantear, las perspectivas que nos ofrece el modelo de economía popular y solidaria.
