Evaluación del comportamiento de la enfermedad del carbón (Sporisorium Scitamineum) en las nuevas variedaes C86-156 Y C90 – 469 en la UBPC "Rubén Martín Agún"

Abstract

La investigación se desarrolló en la UBPC Rubén Martín Agún perteneciente a la UEB de Atención a los Productores Agropecuarios Amancio, en la fecha comprendida desde septiembre 2012 hasta el 2013. Para evaluar el comportamiento de la Enfermedad del Carbón de la caña de azúcar en nuestras plantaciones. Esta evaluación se realizó en condiciones de secano, con el objetivo de valorar los resultados alcanzados con el manejo integral del cultivo de la caña de azúcar Saccharum officinarum L. en el comportamiento de la enfermedad del Carbón Sporisorium scitamineum (Sydow) M. Piepenbr., M. Stoll & Oberw., para lo cual se empleó la metodología de investigación establecida por el Servicio Fitosanitario (SEFIT). Se logró mejorar la composición varietal actual, reduciéndose los porcentajes de áreas plantadas de las variedades Ja60-5, C323-68 y B63118 y la introducción de nuevas variedades, principalmente C86-12, C90-469, C86-156 y C90-530 Las de mayores porcentajes de propagación de la enfermedad se tuvieron en las áreas clasificadas en la categoría de Ligero. Las pérdidas agrícolas producidas por el carbón en el año 2012 rondaron 570,5 Toneladas de caña éstas descendieron a 120.0 toneladas de caña en el año 2013, por lo que las pérdidas económicas en el 2012 fueron de $123918 y en el año 2013 de $24088 respectivamente.
