El aceite de aguacate como una alternativa para articulación de encadenamientos productivos en Michoacán, México

Abstract

En Michoacán se produce gran parte de la producción mundial de aguacate, particularidad que se observa como una ventaja para darle valor agregado al fruto, una opción es la extracción de su aceite. Ello abre la posibilidad de promover encadenamientos productivos que integre de mejor manera la agroindustria del aguacate; de llevarse a cabo contribuiría con mayores y mejores beneficios sobre el desarrollo local, estimulando las inversiones. En éste sentido se presentan algunos criterios generales susceptibles de emplearse en la formulación de políticas que incentiven mayor integración en la cadena de agregación de valor del aguacate michoacano.
