Estudio comparativo de México y Colombia en la producción mundial de adormidera

Abstract

En el presente texto se hace un estudio de caso de Colombia y un análisis comparativo de dicho país y México en la producción de amapola, se ponen de relieve sus semejanzas y diferencias, para ello se presentan sus indicadores sociales y económicos básicos; así como datos estadísticos de la producción del cultivo ilícito en ambos países en el contexto internacional. Se concluye que ambos juegan un rol en dicha producción que es funcional a la hegemonía de los Estados Unidos.
