Administración y gestión de la mejora continua y su impacto en los indicadores operativos de la industria manufacturera

Abstract

No se puede negar el hecho que la realidad actual es muy diferente a la de hace unos cuantos años, el mundo en el que vivimos actualmente se encuentra en una vía de una sola dirección hacia la globalización en donde la innovación y le mejora continua serán determinantes para las organizaciones de modo que alcancen y mantengan un alto rendimiento con el fin de mantenerse competitivas en un entorno globalizado. La alta competitividad que se genera en este entorno, demanda que las oportunidades a las que se enfrentan las organizaciones se atiendan no solo con celeridad y de manera robusta, sino también en forma continua. Las empresas que no tengan la cultura de la innovación y la mejora continua no podrán innovar lo suficientemente rápido para poder mantenerse en la preferencia de sus clientes, por lo que este tema no solo es cuestión de competitividad y eficiencia, sino que se torna en un tema de supervivencia.
