Abstract

A fines del siglo pasado los EEUU vivió una época de florecimiento económico y explosión financiera que requirió -y obtuvo- el respaldo del Congreso para la derogación de la Ley Glass-Steagall a través de la sanción de la Ley Gramm-Leach-Bliley, seguida por otra norma conocida como Regulación FD (Fair Disclosure), con la intención que la mayor información resultaba suficiente.
