Generación Y Sostenimiento De Un Ámbito Privilegiado De Acumulación En El Transporte Ferroviario De Pasajeros. (1990-2003)

    En este trabajo se analizan las características del proceso de concesión de los ferrocarriles de pasajeros del área metropolitana de Buenos Aires. Dicho proceso fue desarrollado a inicios de la década de los 90 en Argentina, en el contexto general de privatización de empresas de bienes y servicios públicos. La hipótesis que se sostiene es que tanto por el modo de llevarse a cabo, como por la lógica que asumió el modelo de concesión de los servicios, se conformó un ámbito privilegiado de acumulación en el sector. Para el desarrollo de dicho argumento se analiza la relación entre el carácter de la intervención económica estatal, la acción empresaria y el desempeño de las empresas concesionarias del sector, en base a documentos oficiales, información hemerográfica y series estadísticas provistas por diferentes organismos del sector.
