Abstract

El sistema para gestionar la actividad científica del Departamento de Informática de la Universidad de Guantánamo surge debido a la necesidad de gestionar de manera más rápida, segura y eficaz los procesos que se desarrollan actualmente en dicho centro. Fue desarrollado utilizando los lenguajes PHP del lado del servidor con CodeIgniter como framework y JavaScript del lado del cliente. Se utilizó PostgresSQL como gestor de base de datos y ExtJS, una potente librería JavaScript para el diseño de las interfaces y las validaciones.
