Abstract

A administração do capital de giro assume relevante importância na atual conjuntura do mercado empresarial globalizado forçando o administrador a gerir com mais eficiência o capital de giro de sua empresa, haja visto estar relacionado diretamente com o ciclo operacional e com o giro dos negócios ditando desta forma sua fatia de mercado. O presente artigo tem por finalidade reunir opções de melhoria na gestão do capital de giro através de pesquisa teórica apontando possíveis estratégias financeiras e soluções a curto e médio prazo, proporcionando um crescimento progressivo pelo seu autofinanciamento. Neste enfoque abordaremos conceitos, salientando a importância das contas do ativo e passivo circulante, fluxo de caixa, necessidades de capital e o risco e retorno dos investimentos.
