Abstract

El siguiente trabajo "Diseño del Sistema de Costo de la Empresa Portuaria" tiene como objetivo diseñar un sistema de costo sobre la interdependencia, interacción, sistematicidad y dinámica de las categorías presentes en el sistema que contribuyan en calidad a mejorar sostenidamente el proceso de toma de decisiones. En la investigación se realizó una caracterización teórica e histórica de la contabilidad de costo, concluyendo con un método para la realización de los sistemas de costo, desarrollado a partir de los lineamientos de la contabilidad de costo vigente en el país. El método utilizado fue por absorción. El sistema de costo desarrollado es una valiosa herramienta para medir el aprovechamiento de los recursos económicos y financieros en el proceso de producción.
