Diseño del sistema de gestión de la calidad para la unidad empresarial de base fábrica de azúcar “Colombia”

Abstract

El desarrollo de la ciencia y la técnica imponen exigencias a la industria azucarera; medidas en términos de producción, productividad y calidad. Por lo que cobra gran importancia la implementación de un sistema de gestión de la calidad para organizar, planificar, dirigir y controlar la misma a lo largo de todo el proceso, y no después de elaborado el producto, lo que puede resultar muy costoso. En la empresa Unidad Empresarial Base, Fábrica de Azúcar “Colombia” se identificaron insuficiencias en la gestión de la calidad, que limitan el cumplimiento eficaz de su misión, asociadas a deficiencias en el cumplimiento de sus principios básicos. Para contrarrestar estas insuficiencias la presente investigación estuvo dirigida a proponer un sistema de gestión de la calidad para el desarrollo de la producción de azúcar. Entre las técnicas empleadas para lograr este objetivo se encuentran encuestas, entrevistas grupales e individuales, observación, revisión documental y las normas ISO 9000. La utilización de estás técnicas propiciaron el diseño de un procedimiento, cuya implementación posibilitó la realización de una propuesta del sistema de gestión de la calidad para la Unidad Empresarial Base, Fábrica de Azúcar “Colombia”. Este sistema al incorporar en su concepción los ocho principios básicos de la gestión de la calidad, contribuyó a reducir las insuficiencias en la gestión de la misma que se manifestaron en esta organización
