Abstract

En las actuales condiciones de nuestra economía se impone de inmediato el perfeccionamiento de los instrumentos de dirección y en particular de aquellas herramientas que contribuyan a evaluar con mayor precisión u objetividad la gestión y el grado de cumplimiento de los principios del control interno, en particular en su vertiente técnico administrativa. Desde la década de los 80 han sido abordadas diversas definiciones y conceptos con respecto al término Control Interno, en diferentes países desarrollados se comenzó a llevar a cabo una serie de acciones con el propósito de alcanzar un consenso a escala mundial y lograr establecer un marco para los conceptos de control interno que permitan una definición común del mismo así como la identificación de sus componentes
