Abstract

Desde los años cuarenta han sido publicados por diferentes organizaciones profesionales de auditorías internas y externas informes, recomendaciones y normas acerca del control interno, para así llegar a la conclusión de que las auditorías pueden realizarse de manera más eficaz y eficiente al centrar la atención en la calidad o las deficiencias de los controles internos en las instituciones.
