Abstract

El trabajo aborda la problemática del financiamiento en una empresa bajo el supuesto de que tenga acceso al descuento por pronto pago de las compras realizadas, se analizan las causas que inciden en las finanzas de la empresa y en específico en su capacidad de pago de los créditos recibidos. Para ello se utilizaron índices y razones económicas a fin de determinar la situación financiera. Se realizó una comparación entre el costo de renunciar a los descuentos y un préstamo bancario. Se analizan los costos que resultan de renunciar a descuentos por pronto pago y los resultados finales de dilatar el pago.
