Abstract

El Control Interno ha sido pensado fundamentalmente para reducir riesgos que afectan las actividades de las entidades, por lo tanto, es importante una correcta identificación, análisis y manejo de estos para contribuir al logro de los objetivos trazados. Sin embargo el Control Interno tiene limitaciones que le impiden garantizar una seguridad absoluta o el éxito de una organización. Como resultado el Control Interno sólo puede proporcionar una seguridad razonable. Lo que ha llevado a las distintas organizaciones a perfeccionar los procedimientos, técnicas y herramientas de control.
