Caracterización De La Producción Primaria De Amaranto En Puebla, México

Abstract

En el texto se analiza la situación actual de la producción de amaranto en el estado de Puebla; México. Se realiza a través de una breve descripción de los principales indicadores del desempeño (superficie sembrada, superficie cosechada, rendimiento, volumen y valor de la producción y, su precio medio rural), contextuándole en el marco del desempeño del cultivo a nivel nacional. Se puede observar que dichos indicadores muestran que Puebla es la principal entidad productora de amaranto a escala nacional, pese a que presenta problemas de rendimiento.
