Abstract

La producción, que es el móvil esencial de la historia, y el modo de producción tuvieron su origen con la creación de los primeros instrumentos y herramientas de trabajo, en los albores de la humanidad. El modo de producción, definido por las relaciones de producción y las fuerzas productivas, comprende una estructura o base económica que constituye los cimientos sobre el que se edifica la superestructura de la sociedad conformada por las clases sociales, el Estado, los conocimientos, ideología, cosmovisión; etc. Tiene un carácter social sujeto a cambios permanentes. El desarrollo del conocimiento, la ciencia, la tecnología, la creación de nuevos instrumentos de producción y su perfeccionamiento son los caracteres que establecen su evolución. Dio origen a las formaciones sociales - comunismo primitivo, esclavismo, feudalismo, capitalismo y el “socialismo” – y a la conciencia social alcanzada en la historia.
