O Cenário Bioético No Brasil

Abstract

Que relação poderíamos estabelecer entre ética e vida? Quais seriam os limites de um discurso ético na sociedade contemporânea? Tendo em conta estes questionamentos, próprio de uma época de fragmentação do conhecimento e que submete o sujeito à sua lógica, emerge uma nova possibilidade de discussão em torno ao problema da vida. Pois a Bioética chegou ao Brasil em meados da década de 90. Ainda assim, neste período o Conselho Federal de Medicina (CFM) lança o primeiro periódico na área. Após esta iniciativa se organiza um pensamento comum em torno da questão com a Comissão Nacional de Ética em Pesquisa (CONEP), tal como a Sociedade Brasileira de Bioética (SBB).
