Hacia una historia del placer en Bogotá durante el siglo XX

Abstract

La historia del placer es al mismo tiempo la historia de las transformaciones en las relaciones entre mujeres y hombres, las clases sociales, el dolor y el bienestar. Las nuevas relaciones de producción y de trabajo han producido nuevas formas de placer. Esta historia plantea retos para los profesores, los investigadores y los formuladores de política: hombres y mujeres pueden pagar para construir sus cuerpos, las industrias del entretenimiento invaden el tiempo libre, a través de éstos procesos surgen nuevas formas de exclusión. El presente artículo presenta los aspectos más relevantes de la historia del placer y analiza los problemas y oportunidades que han emergido de esta historia.
