Abstract

La existencia de unas libertades naturales del hombre, pregonadas por los ideólogos de la burguesía pre-revolucionaria que da origen con su lucha política al estado liberal burgués, encuentra complemento en lo económico en las teorías desarrolladas por Smith, Ricardo, Mills, entre otros, abanderados de lo que hoy conocemos como teoría económica clásica o liberal, cuyo objeto era eliminar los monopolios y privilegios feudales y absolutistas, asegurar la libre competencia y conseguir que los factores de producción se desplazarán con libertad y fueran orientados exclusivamente por las fuerzas del mercado hacia aquellos usos u objetivos donde recibiera la renta más alta.
