Abstract

Hace unos días los precios del petróleo y de varias materias primas experimentaron una moderada disminución (el petróleo bajó 10 dólares en tres días) y repentinamente se encendieron las alarmas de varias personas pensando que esta burbuja de las materias primas (las cuales se encuentran encabezadas por el petróleo) había llegado a su fin. Obviamente la situación en el mundo es muy diferente a la de hace unos meses, pero a juicio de varios analistas y expertos, esta burbuja está muy lejos de explotar. En tal sentido a continuación presento algunos datos importantes para este segundo semestre de 2008 y para el año 2009 de los últimos informes de la Organización de Países Exportadores de Petróleo (OPEP) y de la Agencia Internacional de Energía (AIE) en relación al mercado petrolero.
