Estimação de função exportação do Brasil para a Argentina

Abstract

Trough the years there was need to estimate functions of exportation for the partners of the block, in this work the member country chosen was Argentina. The developed study was based on the Brazilian exportations for Argentina between the years of 1992 and 1999, using the quarterly exportations of these respective years. The variables Gross National Product (GNP), Exchange Rate (TCR) and Income of Argentina (YAR) have been also observerd. In the some context the Dummy 0 variable was annexed to the formulation. Context the Dummy 0 variable was annexed the formularization of the equation, therefore the Method of Squared minimums Usual was used (MQO), which has some very attractive statistical properties, that have made it one of the most powerful and popular methods of regression analysis. As in the amostral period changes in the economic policy of the involved countries have occurred, mainly in Brazil, being, therefore necessary to use of the binary 0 variable dummy, with the purpose of better catching the effects of these changes on the dependant 0 variable, in accordance with econometrical literature.
