"Che" Guevara Y La Ópera De Beijín: ¿Un Maridaje Imposible?

Abstract

Van a permitirme los lectores de esta revista digital que en esta ocasión me aleje (sólo en parte) de los géneros teatrales clásicos de China. Y, es que, el teatro chino no sólo se alimenta y vuelve a alimentarse de sus piezas tradicionales. No todo iba a ser representar clásico tras clásico en China o exportar dichos espectáculos al extranjero. En un país tan grande como China hay espacio para todo, incluso para poner en escena atrevidos montajes vanguardistas, con inusuales protagonistas que van más allá de los aguerridos héroes o generales de los tiempos mitológicos. Tal es caso de la obra titulada Theatre Che Guevara (2007), del dramaturgo chino Hwang Ji Su, que con la compañía coreana de teatro experimental Namoodak Movement Laboratory, formada por actores muy jóvenes que trabajan con corrientes como la Expresionista o la Surrealista, ha presentado una pieza cuyo protagonista no es otro que el guerrillero y político argentino Ernesto "Che" Guevara (1928-1967).
