Un Acercamiento A La Viii Cumbre De La Organización De Cooperación De Shanghai

Abstract

El pasado 28 de agosto de 2008, los Jefes de los Estados miembros de la Organización de Cooperación de Shanghai (OCSH) , que asistieron a la VIII Cumbre de se Organismo y que tuvo lugar en la Ciudad de Dushambé, Capital de Tayikistán, suscribieron varios documentos de interés para los países miembros. Entre los documentos conjuntos figura una declaración que reiteró el apego a principios como la indivisibilidad de la seguridad y del desarrollo, la estricta observancia de la Carta de la ONU y del Derecho Internacional. Otro aspecto de relevancia fue la renuncia a la estrategia confrontacionista, la política de bloques y el mundo unipolar. Los principales compromisos de la convención fueron:
