Abstract

China sólo tendría que esperar dos años para verse inmersa en su primer conflicto de la segunda posguerra mundial con la potencia número 1: la guerra de Corea (1951- 1953). Vio las fuerzas aliadas, encabezadas por el comandante de las tropas de Naciones Unidas, el General Mc Arthur, adentrarse en la frontera chino-coreana y entendió que los estadounidenses no iban por Corea sino que intentaban invadirla a ella y estrangular en su cuna a la República Popular.
