Abstract

La crisis ambiental actual es compleja y cubre una serie de aristas íntimamente ligadas: sociedad, ecosistema, actividades económica, política y cultural, etc. Sin embargo, tal crisis se ve causalmente asociada con las acciones que inducen a la depredación no sostenible de recursos: se busca transformar los recursos naturales en insumos y/o productos para el consumo y para su posterior desecho final. Por lo cual se dice que la Economía es aquella actividad que transforma materiales con baja entropía en materiales con alta entropía.
