La educación ambiental desde la extensión universitaria. Una experiencia

Abstract

La Estrategia Nacional de Educación Ambiental constituye una herramienta imprescindible para el trabajo de sensibilización, educación y desarrollo de una cultura ambiental, a partir de la gestión y tratamiento de los procesos educativos en diversos escenarios y condiciones. El trabajo tiene como objetivo mostrar los resultados obtenidos en el componente de extensión universitaria, específicamente en los aspectos de la superación cultural de los profesionales universitarios, dirigentes, estudiantes y docentes del territorio así como de la ciencia y la innovación tecnológica, a través del tema educación ambiental como resortes que impulsan la integración con los actores sociales de las instituciones, organizaciones y la comunidad universitaria en función del desarrollo de una cultura general integral, lo anterior responde a las indicaciones generales para el fortalecimiento de la estrategia curricular de medio ambiente en las carreras de la Educación Superior así como a la Agenda 2030, objetivo 4, garantizar una educación inclusiva, equitativa y de calidad y promover oportunidades de aprendizaje durante toda la vida para todos.
