Contabilidad Ecolã“Gica, Reflexiã“N Sobre Las Normativas

Abstract

Este artículo tiene como objetivo hacer un análisis sobre el papel que tiene la contabilidad en temas medioambientales fundamentada en leyes de protección al ecosistema que rigen los países. Se hace un estudio a las Normas Internacionales de Contabilidad (NIC) y Normas Internacionales de Información Financiera (NIIF) que aportan directrices para la cuantificación, medición y reconocimiento del impacto ambiental negativo producido por los procesos productivos de los sectores económicos siempre que existan estatutos medioambientales que rijan el funcionamiento de las actividades económicas, en los países donde se han adoptado esta normativa contable. El análisis permitió establecer que la regulación contable debe ir de la mano con la legislación a fin de converger en bienestar de la sociedad de forma sustentable. Se concluyó que la Contabilidad Ambiental debe ser incluida en cada operación que genere un proceso productivo, puesto que se hace uso de recursos. Se destacó que esta subdisciplina requiere de estudios que aporten su continuo perfeccionamiento y aplicación.
