Abstract

O presente texto, tem como objetivo principal fazer um arrazoado sobre os mecanismos utilizados pelos países (desenvolvidos e subdesenvolvidos), objetivando diminuir os riscos e as consequências das mudanças climáticas causadas pelo chamado “efeito estufa†(aquecimento global). Iremos analisar e conceituar os pressupostos do Protocolo de Quioto, firmado no ano de 1997, enfatizando o Mecanismo de Desenvolvimento Limpo e a criação de um Mercado de Créditos de Carbono.
