Avances Y Desafã Os En La Calidad De Vida De Familias Campesinas En La Zona De Amortiguamiento Del Parque Internacional La Amistad, Costa Rica

Abstract

La calidad de vida (CV) involucra la consideración que cada individuo tiene del grado de satisfacción que le proporciona su vida y un conjunto de factores que condicionan su existencia. En el medio rural, la baja calidad de vida está fundamentada en la deficiencia del sistema de educación rural. En este estudio se identificaron diferentes condiciones de CV en 45 familias campesinas de 11 comunidades organizadas por una Red operativa en Costa Rica. Como resultado se identificó la importancia de fortalecer los índices más bajos de CV presentados, relacionados a la educación autóctona en el contexto ambiental, capacitación técnica, rescate y valorización cultural, valores morales, y conocimiento en nutrición y salud. Los puntos más fuertes están relacionados con el medio ambiente de las fincas, representadas por sistemas agroforestales, bosques y parches de bosque; así como la participación de los individuos en las comunidades, lo que justifica su capacidad organizacional.
