Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la relación entre gestión ambiental y competitividad territorial. En el documento se hace una breve introducción y se describe como la creación de ventajas competitivas tiene un carácter marcadamente local. Después, se presenta una reflexión sobre los conceptos de gestión ambiental en la teoría económica. A continuación, se define competitividad territorial vista desde los preceptos de la prospectiva estratégica y se hace una lista de aquellos resultados de la prospectiva territorial que se han utilizado en lo político, lo económico, lo estratégico y en la inteligencia colectiva. Finalmente, se presentan las dimensiones y resultados de esta relación donde se destaca la necesidad de la alineación de los gobiernos autónomos a la planificación de cada zona para el análisis de esta categoría en la economía del Estado Ecuatoriano.
