Indicadores Y Dimensiones De La Gestiã“N Ambiental Su Impacto En La Competitividad Territorial

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar como los indicadores y dimensiones de la gestión ambiental aportan a la competitividad territorial del Cantón La Concordia. En el documento se hace una breve introducción y se describe la importancia de que los gobiernos autónomos descentralizados formulen políticas económicas que favorezcan la gestión ambiental y la competitividad territorial. A continuación, para medir el desempeño de gestión ambiental propuesto se emplean indicadores sobre la base del enfoque de procesos de esta gestión. Dichos indicadores se clasifican en tres clases: de intensidad, de resultados y de impacto; y de modo global permiten evaluar la gestión y sentar pautas para su mejora continua. Los resultados alcanzados demuestran la efectividad del sistema de indicadores y dimensiones propuesto en la investigación durante el periodo comprendido entre 2012 a 2014, pues desde el punto de vista económico los indicadores mejoran la eficiencia de la competitividad territorial.
