Abstract

La gestión ambiental es una preocupación prioritaria de los gobiernos para enfrentar los problemas de carácter ambiental con el propósito de lograr un desarrollo sostenible como un factor clave para asegurar el derecho de sus habitantes a vivir en un ambiente sano y apoyar la competitividad del territorio. La finalidad de esta investigación mostrar las ventajas de aplicar el método MACTOR para medir el nivel de potencialidad entre un grupos de actores en el proceso de gestión ambiental, basado en la definición de objetivos ambientales, económicos, de gestión, entre otros. Con este método se podrá realizar un análisis detallado de las posibles alianzas, teniendo en cuenta los intereses comunes entre los actores que desean iniciar un proceso participativo e integral. El artículo propuesto finaliza con los resultados alcanzados aplicados en gobierno autónomo descentralizado del cantón La Concordia.
