El Cambio Climã Tico En Una Comunidad Originaria. La Percepciã“N En Cuilapam De Guerrero, Oaxaca, Mã‰Xico

Abstract

El artículo analiza la percepción de los efectos del Cambio Climático (CC) en la población originaria de Cuilapam, Oaxaca, México, la cual es famosa por el ex-convento del siglo XVI que le da fama internacional, y por su población indígena de origen mixteco y zapoteco. El supuesto que examina es si entre la población ya existe la percepción que el CC impacta negativamente su desarrollo sustentable, así como sus actividades económicas, en especial la agricultura. A través de un muestreo exploratorio entre las viviendas y los agricultores de la población se confirma que el CC impacta negativamente la sustentabilidad, así como las actividades económicas, concretamente la agricultura, debido a la reducción de sus recursos hídricos, pero la gente de la comunidad todavía no percibe un impacto significativo del CC, pues considera un bajo impacto del mismo en la disminución de la disponibilidad de agua y el deterioro de su bienestar.
