El Fomento De Clãšsteres En El Municipio Heres-Estado Bolã Var: Una Propuesta Para El Sector Del Turismo

Abstract

La presente investigación profundiza en las opciones disponibles para alcanzar el desarrollo económico sostenible en el municipio Heres, capital del estado Bolívar. En particular se destaca la experiencia acumulada durante varios decenios en este Estado, en la promoción y creación de clústeres. El municipio Heres constituye el asiento de un importante número de Universidades, las cuales tradicionalmente han estado involucradas en los diferentes proyectos de transformación regional y, en específico en el proyecto de creación de la CVG de Guayana durante los años cincuenta del pasado siglo. Así, la propuesta principal de esta investigación es la implementación de una estrategia de desarrollo local que descanse en la formación de un clúster en el sector del turismo en el municipio Heres. Se contrastó estos resultados con la creciente profusión que han adquirido a escala internacional, las estrategias de desarrollo local y regional sustentadas en el fomento de clústeres. En vínculo con estas experiencias se evaluó las reales potencialidades de que dispone el municipio Heres, para facilitar la construcción futura de un clúster en el sector turismo.
