Abstract

Los mercados agrícolas globales son resultado de la aplicación de programas de organismos multilaterales como el FMI, BM y acuerdos con la OMC, que influyen directamente en las políticas y mercados de países emergentes. El mercado agrícola es el más sensible a las operaciones especulativas, logrando maximizar el beneficio económico de los inversionistas por el alza o caída de un producto en el corto plazo, siendo esta una de las principales causas de la crisis alimentaria del 2008, que ha generado que 49 millones de personas más sufran hambre en el mundo.
