Governança Da Água E A Gestão Dos Recursos Hídricos: A Formação De Comitês De Bacia No Brasil

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar uma reflexão sobre a governança da água, que surge como um mecanismo de democratização e os avanços da gestão compartilhada dos recursos hídricos. A partir de uma revisão bibliográfica, conceitua-se o termo governança da água, discute-se o desenvolvimento da preocupação com os problemas ambiental e a gestão da água. Evidenciando-se que apesar de a gestão participativa ser crescente no país, buscando a resolução de problemas e solucionar os conflitos das partes interessadas, ainda há muito que avançar na obtenção de acordo, tanto na forma, quanto na qualidade de suas decisões. O trabalho fornece ainda uma visão geral sobre o Sistema Nacional de Gerenciamento de Recursos Hídricos e a formação de comitês de bacia no Brasil.
