Las Centrales Hidroeléctricas De México Y El Reto De La Sostenibilidad Energética

Abstract

Debido a que las fuentes accesibles de combustibles fósiles se han ido haciendo cada vez más escasas y se han incrementado los costos de las mismas, México tendrá que confiar en fuentes alternas de energía para la generación de electricidad tales como la construcción de centrales hidroeléctricas. Por otra parte dado que la generación de electricidad a través de la energía solar o eólica, las tecnologías de celdas de hidrógeno y biocombustibles, aún no se han desarrollado lo suficiente o no se han comercializado eficazmente para proveer de electricidad de acuerdo con las necesidades de la población de México, será necesario realizar inversiones estratégicas en este sector con la finalidad de dotar de energías limpias a una población en constante crecimiento.
