La Universidad En El Desarrollo Sustentable. Un Enfoque Ambiental Desde México

Abstract

Este escrito presenta un recorrido resumido del desarrollo, la sustentabilidad y el desarrollo sustentable en algunos de sus nexos con las sociedades humanas y el resto de la naturaleza, en una visión general. Desde una perspectiva más particular visita algunas de las relaciones del desarrollo, la sustentabilidad y el desarrollo sustentable con la educación y con la educación superior. Se observan estos fenómenos con un enfoque dirigido más hacia el caso mexicano y desde una base ambientalizada. Se comenta la crisis que el sistema mexicano de educación padece en la actualidad y, las difíciles condiciones para que participe en el proceso de creación del desarrollo sustentable para ser un importante vector en la enseñanza de tal tipo de desarrollo en sus educandos y en las sociedades mexicanas.
