El Manejo De La Flora Para La Restauración Ecológica En Áreas Protegidas De Tope De Collantes

Abstract

La biodiversidad de especies constituye la base para procesos de Restauración Ecológica en áreas degradadas. Con el objetivo de determinar las especies de árboles y arbustos potenciales para la Restauración Ecológica en Tope de Collantes, se desarrolló un estudio que abarcó el inventario de estos en la flora de las áreas Codina y Guanayara del Paisaje Protegido "Tope de Collantes". La metodología seguida parte de la caracterización de la flora a través de una exhaustiva búsqueda bibliográfica. Los datos fueron agrupados en el Paquete ACCES y procesados a través de 12 consultas. Como resultados más relevantes se presenta la alta biodiversidad de las áreas que incluyen 31 plantas endémicas y el mismo número de aloctónas, además el mayor porciento toleran la acidez de los suelos y la baja fertilidad y 12 especies son caracterizadas con poder invasor medio y alto. Con relación a los servicios se describen 26 especies maderables, 24 medicinales, 16 melíferas y 13 como combustible. De 80 especies estudiadas se proponen 20 plantas con potencialidades para la Restauración Ecológica en las áreas de estudio.
